Our History
Tims Dairy was founded in 1949 by Euripides Nicolaou and Michael Timotheou, originally serving the Greek ethnic market with natural yogurt. In the late 1970s the second generation Timotheou family members took charge and have grown the business to its existing size.
We have been producing the organic Duchy Originals Organic Yogurt since 2007 and are passionate about making ‘live’, healthy yogurts.
Our Location
Tims Dairy is situated in the rural Chiltern Hills in an area of outstanding natural beauty. As the only dairy of its size in the South East of England, we are perfectly positioned to supply fresh local dairy produce to London and the Home Counties, and also nationwide using our third party distributors.
We like to support the local community in the Chiltern area and are committed to business growth with care and consideration. We have been members of the Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire (BBO) food group since 2003, which promotes the supply of local products in the area.
Our People
Our staff have decades of experience in the dairy industry, with an artisan touch for dairy products. They have a long history of making good quality products to fulfil the tastes of changing times.
Our Production Methods
The yogurt & fruit preparations are hand blended for the best results, then packed on automated filling lines under stringent quality controls.
Our Products
Organic milk is sourced from the West Country and our fruit suppliers are all approved & certified by the Soil Association. Our Organic Lemon Curd Yogurt is prepared using organic eggs from Yorkshire farms, organic butter from UK sources and organic Sicilian lemon juice concentrate.
