Organic Tomato Falcorosso F1

An F1 Hybrid is the result of hand pollination between two parent plants, resulting in a plant with better performance, pest and disease resistance bred into it through natural methods.


INSTRUCTIONS:

Sowing March to May, in pots or trays on the surface of barely moist seed compost and cover with a sprinkling of finely sieved compost. Place in a propagator at 18 - 20C until germination, which takes up to 10 days.

Growing Transplant seedlings into small pots or cells until plants are about 10cm high. Then plant outdoors 90cm apart in a growbag or container in the greenhouse, once frost risk has passed. No trimming or sideshooting required. Good fusarium and verticillium wilt tolerance.

Harvesting July to October. Pick fruits regularly to extend the season.

Our seed packet envelopes are made from paper containing 75% recycled content and are certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).To reduce wastage, why not use the empty packet as a plant marker, or alternatively recycle the paper envelope and aluminium sachet separately.
