An F1 Hybrid is the result of hand pollination between two parent plants, resulting in a plant with better performance, pest and disease resistance bred into it through natural methods.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Sowing March to July outdoors, in well prepared soil in a sunny spot. Sow thinly in either narrow or broad drills, 13mm deep and 30cm apart. Suitable for successional sowings throughout the year. Can also be sown in September to October under glass.
Growing Thin seedlings to 5cm apart for ‘baby leaves’ and 10cm for larger plants. Keep well watered to avoid bolting (running to seed).
Harvesting May to September outdoors, November onwards under glass.
