Duchy Originals Organic Select Ale - Best of its Kind!

Duchy Originals Organic Select Ale, a dark full-bodied organic beer, has won the title of World's Best Standard Pale Ale (Rye) at the World Beer Awards 2008 - run by UK based Beers of the World Magazine.
Duchy Originals Organic Select Ale (the sister of the UK's market leading organic bottled ale, Duchy Originals Organic Ale (5% abv)) offers a higher strength (6.2%) and fuller bodied beer, which wowed the panel of professional beer judges. The recipe includes the same organic Plumage Archer barley malt as Duchy Origials Ale, but with the organic rye and oats added, from organic farms including the Home Farm at Highgrove, to give complexity and a fascinating range of flavours.
The hop grist is a blend of the organic dwarf hop First Gold, sourced from the Hereford-Worcester border, and organic Target hops grown near Paddock Wood in Kent. The First Gold hop is a variety known for its orange peel and dried apricot flavours and has given a wonderful dried fruit blackground to the beer.
The combination of these organic ingredients has given Duchy Originals Select Ale a dark ruby colour and warming toffee flavour, with hints of fruit and spice.

today i bought my first select ale ,where has this ale been. this would have to be the absolute best ale i have ever tasted.i always try organic beers when i can find them,and ill say it again this is a fantastic example of an organic beverage. well done .
