Organic Little Gem Lettuce - Delight
INSTRUCTIONS:
Sowing March to July, every 4 weeks for continuous crops. Sow thinly in drills 13mm deep in rows 23cm apart, in well prepared soil in full sun.
Growing Thin plants to 20cm apart and keep well watered for the most flavoursome hearts. Can be grown in pots and growbags as well as directly in the garden. Some downy mildew tolerance.
Harvesting June to September. Later plants can be afforded cloche protection to extend the season.
ORGANIC GARDENING:
In order to continue the organic life cycle of these seeds, gardeners should follow recognised organic growing methods, avoiding the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides.
