An F1 Hybrid is the result of hand pollination between two parent plants, resulting in a plant with better performance, pest and disease resistance bred into it through natural methods.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Sowing Mid April to late June, thinly in a well prepared seedbed, 13mm deep.
Growing Transplant when large enough to handle, about 5 weeks from sowing, to well prepared soil in a sunny spot, allowing 38-45cm each way between plants. Plant firmly and water in.
Harvesting Central heads of 300-400g approximately 80 days from transplanting. Subsequent sideshoots can be cut regularly until frosts.
ORGANIC GARDENING:
In order to continue the organic life cycle of these seeds, gardeners should follow recognised organic growing methods, avoiding the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides.
