Bread & Butter Pudding
Anton Mosimann’s Bread and Butter Pudding is recognised as one of his signature dishes. So deliciously tempting is it that when Anton served it to former US President, Jimmy Carter, he was asked if he could take a ‘doggy bag’ home! Our Duchy Originals Bread and Butter Pudding is made to Anton’s unique recipe which is famous for its soufflé-like texture, achieved by reducing the amount of bread in the pudding, enriching the custard and gently cooking the pudding to produce a deliciously light version of this quintessentially British dessert. The pudding contains plump sultanas and is topped with a delicious apricot glaze. The Duchy Originals Bread and Butter Pudding is packaged for sharing in boxes of two classic glass ramekins which we recommend are placed and heated in a ‘Bain Marie’, or gently heated in an oven, to ensure the delicious light texture of the pudding.
