We hope that the answers below might answer your question, if you cannot find the information you need please ask us via the Contact Us page.

Q. Does Duchy produce non-organic products?

A.
Yes we do, but we have separated them so you can make a clear distinction between our organic and non-organic products,

All products under the Duchy Original label are organic; all non-organic foods have the Duchy Selections label.  This includes our range of free range meat products as well as our smoked salmon.

Q. Are all your products from the UK?

A. All Duchy Originals products are produced in the UK and, where possible, we source raw ingredients from the UK.

In some cases we source the finest organic ingredients from abroad, such as Sicilian lemon oil for our lemon curd or Seville oranges for our marmalade.

Q. Where are the products stocked?

A. Duchy products are available in the UK in a wide variety of supermarkets and independent retailers. This includes fine food halls such as Fortnum and Mason and specialist organic stores, such as Whole Foods.

Waitrose supermarkets have the widest range of products, many of which are also available via Ocado.  Duchy Original products are also stocked in Sainsbury's, Tesco, John Lewis, Budgens, Morrisons, Somerfield and Booths.

Q. What charities does The Prince of Wales’s Charities Foundation Support?

A.
All profits generated from the sale of Duchy Originals products are donated to The Prince of Wales’s Charities Foundation.

The Foundation distributes funding to a variety of worthwhile causes, covering a wide range of areas; including the built and natural environment, health, the arts and education.

To date, over £6million has been donated  since Duchy Originals was founded. Please look at the charities page for more information.

Q. I thought this was the Duchy of Cornwall brand - are all Duchy Originals products from Cornwall?

A. Duchy gets its name from the Duchy of Cornwall estate.  It is owned by The Prince of Wales who is the Duke of Cornwall. We work with our organic bakery in Cornwall and over 30 producers from around the UK to make our products.

The Prince's Highgrove estate in Gloucestershire, also part of the Duchy of Cornwall estate, grows some of our key ingredients including wheat and oats for our biscuits.
